It is incredibly welcome as we continue to rebuild the Lewis Pipe Band following the pandemic, and in particular with the addition of all our new youth pipers and drummers. This funding will allow us to attend the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow on 17th August, our first competition since 2019, which will support our young musicians to grow in their talents and develop their confidence as performers. “At Fever Pitch Academy, we are constantly trying offer our students exciting opportunities. Having established in 2012, so far we have performed In Londons West End twice, Broadway twice & Disneyland Paris! These experiences aren’t cheap and therefore, we fundraise extensively to make it all possible. 2024 will see over 100 of our students perform at Edinburghs prestigious Fringe Festival and we couldn’t be more excited! With fundraising well underway, the news of being successful in our application for a Grant from Eilidhs fund, has been gratefully received.
